Sometimes we need a little breather from social media and time to connect and get to know each other in REAL life! This month, I will be sharing some real details from my whole wedding season, starting with the bridesmaid proposals. Don’t worry! We will continue to share social media tips and tricks and content creation ideas, of course! However, I have found that personal real content and daily life is something that many of my followers and listeners enjoy, so I wanted to give you the inside scoop! If you are getting married soon, maybe there will be some takeaways for you as you are planning or if someone you know is getting married, you might take some ideas back to them.
I decided to ask family, this included 2 of my cousins and my sister in law, and a close family friend to be my bridesmaids. I also asked my mom to be my matron of honor. This made it a close knit and special bridal party of 5. We also had a cutie flower girl!

I grabbed white boxes and used the cricut to make vinyl stickers of their names on the boxes.
BrideS: Invest in a cricut!
Inside each box, I included:
- A bottle of rose with a custom wrapper
- A champagne glass with bridesmaid or MOH on it
- A handwritten card (I think this always goes a long way!)
- A pink travel jewelry box: I also added everyone’s name to these with the circuit
- A butterfly necklace inside the jewelry box
- Blue scrunchie
I wrapped each box with sparkly ribbon.

Inside the Flower Girl box, I included:
- Flower sunglasses
- Blue bag
- Flower girl tee shirt
- Note asking her to be our flower girl
I also wrapper her box in a sparkly ribbon.
Oh and of course.. we asked Mr Binx (my tuxedo cat) to be in the wedding party! We got him a tux, a special fishing pole toy, a few mice toys, and special treats!

We had a “love you a brunch” at my house at the end of March, where we had brunch treats and made breakfast and distributed the boxes for those in FL. I distributed the rest when I could! It was fun, and I think everyone enjoyed their boxes.
In terms of timeframe, I think asking at the end of March/April was a good time. The wedding was in November, so this provided a good timeline for us to plan our Bach Bash.. more about that in a future episode!
