ABOUT BECKS

About the Author:

My name is Rebecca, but you can call me “Becks” or “Becca.” (never Becky) I am a business school graduate, social media marketer, and daily adventure seeker. My creative mindset has been furthered from my experiences at work, school, and everyday life. I have been writing every day since I received my first journal and I have been photographing since I saved up for my first digital camera. I started blogging on Tumblr when I was 14, and recently decided it was time to put myself out there on my own platform. My professional work experiences consist of  a professional fashion blogger, a character at Walt Disney World, a field marketing manager, and a social media marketing manager.

I always felt an internal drive to push myself, to seek new adventures, and to learn more. My top hobbies include photography, writing, health and fitness, traveling, and listening to stories. I have experiences that readers may be able to relate to, and I hope they can take comfort in that. For years, I struggled with self-confidence and feeling like an outsider. One day, I decided to embrace it.

Behind “Chase Your Endless Summer:”

To me, summer isn’t a season- it’s a feeling. It’s a feeling of paradise, perseverance and seeing the bright side- despite the obstacles that life may present. We can not control what happens to us, but we can decide how to react to it.

I’m choosing to see the sunny side, I’m choosing summer.
