Experience Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway

Let’s go see Harry Potter and the Cursed Child on Broadway starring Tom Felton.

It was REALLY cold, literally real feel negative degrees, and I forgot ONE glove. Like, come on, how did I do that?! Anyway, the walk from NY Penn Station to Broadway is only 0.6 of a mile, so we decided to get some steps in, despite the snowy sidewalks.

The venue was really cool, all Harry Potter-decorated for us Muggles. Stepping inside felt like entering another world; the decor was meticulously designed to immerse you in the wizarding universe.

There was a lot of merchandise for sale in the crowded downstairs, which was both exciting and overwhelming. As a Ravenclaw myself, I felt like I needed one of those t-shirts emblazoned with the house colors and emblem. I could picture myself wearing it to Universal Studios sometime, but alas, I refrained from making a purchase-it was a tough choice, though!

We opted for a refreshment package that included some goodies and, of course, grabbed some frozen butterbeers before the show. The drinks were not only iconic but also deliciously frosty-a must-try for any Harry Potter fan. The package included some tasty sour candies that added a nice kick, popcorn that was freshly popped and perfectly salted, trendy water in aluminum, which low-key tasted like it was in aluminum, and even a chocolate frog! Who doesn’t love a chocolate frog?

Showtime! The anticipation in the theater was palpable as the lights began to dim. It was time to relive my childhood a bit and watch THE Draco Malfoy take the stage.

I sat back in my seat with a sense of excitement, prepared to dive back into the enchanting world of Harry Potter. The crowd buzzed with energy, mirroring my own eagerness to witness the magic unfold before my eyes. The stage was set, and I couldn’t wait to see how the story would be brought to life in this production.
