Top Tips for Enjoying the Air Dot Show Cocoa Beach Airshow

It was such a beautiful sunny day today in Cocoa Beach for the airshow! I grabbed my DSLR and telephoto lens to snap some pics at the Cocoa Beach Airshow: Salute across America 250.

We had a blast! I really enjoy disconnecting from social media on weekends and just focusing on creating more, one of those avenues being my long time hobby – photography.

The airshow was really cool to see, showcasing a variety of breathtaking aerial performances that left the audience in awe. With skilled pilots maneuvering their planes with precision, the event offered an unforgettable experience. I highly recommend grabbing tickets as it’s headed to Fort Lauderdale, Central PA, Ocean City, New York, Orlando, and Atlanta!

A few FAQs from your planner friend:

Should I purchase parking for $30?

Personally, I would recommend it. Like Victoria Ratliff from White Lotus would say “I just dont think I have it in me” to look for parking. The parking lots were super easy and efficient, just make sure to print your pass ahead of time.

Do I need an umbrella?

It was windy at the beach, and we were eyes to the sky most of the day, so I don’t think it’s necessary. However if it’s full sun, you might want to escape and hide out in the shade for a bit. I will leave that up to you.

What do I bring?

Camera, sunglasses, cooler (we packed poppi and picked up Wawa on the way), as well as a beach/lawn chair. You do not need to bring food- they have chicken fingers, hot dogs, and burgers for sale – but you do have the option to pack your own!

When should I get there? How long should I plan to stay?

We got there around 10 am. Parking opens at 9 am and the air show started around 12 pm.

Overall, it’s a fun full day of cool views and good vibes. We got there around 10 am and didn’t leave until around 3:30 PM. As always – the less you pack for the beach, the less you have to carry with you. Splurge for parking, get a basic ticket, and sit back, relax, and enjoy a fun filled day.
