It is getting warmer out (finally) and it is festival season! Woohoo!
While I am new to the make up world, I am certainly having some fun with it. I have learned that you do not need to spend a fortune on make up to create fun, cute looks for summer. I created some festival looks using my favorite Clinique Foundation & inexpensive drug store make up from Walgreens!
For my first look, I created a mermaid-esque style with blues, purples, and of course SPARKLES.
CYO Cosmetics from Walgreens helped to create this fun, mermaid festival look. I am wearing the take three way shadow, liner and mascara, the thick of it volume mascara, sweeping statement metallic eye stick, and metalasting shine metallic liquid lipstick. To finish off the look, I added some fun glitter stars. If I could add something to this look, it would be fun braids and wavy hair! I think the lavender top really makes the purple pop! If this mermaid look is not for you, I have a hippie-inspired look next!
This next festival style is a “hippie inspired” look. This top is from Tilly’s and the skirt is from Forever 21. Both were very inexpensive finds! I am wearing CYO Cosmetics heart-shaped shades, take the threeway shadow, liner, & mascara, two tone twist ombré lipstick, crush on metal metallic eyeshadow and the gift of gold bronzing shimmer oil. This look is less dramatic than the mermaid look, and is definitely more boho chic with shimmery details.
