Believe it or not, expressing gratitude is a SKILL. For me, it is the difference between focusing on the haves rather than the have nots. It is thinking of all that I am instead of all that I am not.
There is a quote by Albert Einstein that sums up gratitude nicely:
Take a second to think about just how fortunate you are. Do you have access to clean water? Do you have a roof over your head?
If you are having difficulty thinking about what you are grateful for, I complied a gratitude list. I am challenging myself to complete this list by completing one each day.
