Let me tell you, that saying is the absolute truth. As the daughter of a small business owner, I realized that there are few things that make my mother happier than when we receives an order and is paid to do follow her dreams. Small businesses are super important to our economy and our entrepreneurial spirit. This is how we move forward as a society, we live, we learn, we grow. The American dream is here and it is real. One of my closest friends is an extremely successful small business owner in the fashion industry and my mother is an awesome small business owner in the dessert world. These women inspire me to chase my dreams and spark my entrepreneurial mindset when it comes to freelancing in content creation and blogging. I truly enjoy what I do via social media as well as in all aspects of marketing. I hope to take the leap into full time content creation one day, and I know that day will be sooner rather than later.

Small Business Saturday is a great reminder to support those chasing their dreams. I work for a small business and am surrounded by the hard work, motivation and dedication that goes into being an entrepreneur. It is NOT easy. It requires self-motivation, organization, and boy does it require a lot of positive energy. In the small business world, if you do not believe in yourself, no one will.
