As the founder of Binxties, moments like these are the ones that stay with me long after the event ends.
We were incredibly honored to support the Flamingo Run in Jupiter, Florida with a donated gift bag benefiting rescue efforts and adoptable pets in need of loving homes. What began as a simple opportunity to contribute became a beautiful reminder of why I started this brand in the first place – to create pieces that feel joyful, expressive, and connected to something deeper than style alone.

One of the most memorable parts of the event was seeing Grisi and Buddy dressed in our bow ties. These two adoptable kitties instantly stole hearts with their sweet personalities and quiet charm. After being left behind when their previous owners moved, they are still waiting for the second chance they so deeply deserve.
Grisi carries such a gentle, observant presence, soft-eyed and elegant in the most effortless way, and Buddy, her affectionate companion, brings a playful curiosity. Rescue animals are not defined by what they’ve been through, but by the love they still so freely give.
Even though the race has already come and gone, I’m still reflecting on the incredible community that showed up to support rescue organizations, animals in need, and one another. Every runner, volunteer, donor, and supporter played a part in creating something meaningful.
As a small business founder, I never take these opportunities lightly. Being able to contribute, even in a small way, means the world to me. Rescue work is built on compassion, community, and people willing to care, and I’m endlessly grateful that Binxties gets to stand alongside that mission.
We’ll continue cheering on Grisi and Buddy until they find the loving forever home they deserve.
Until then, they remain two very dapper reminders that hope, kindness, and second chances never go out of style.
